BB's may appear similar but they come in a vast range of weights such as 0.20g, 0.25g, 0.28g, 0.30g, 0.32g and Heavyweight BB's (0.36g+).
 

It's always best to look at the FPS/Joule limit to see which ammo will suit your Airsoft gun best.
 

Lighter BB’s will achieve greater speed, however on the other hand will lose this speed quicker than heavier BB’s. The lightness can also be easily influenced via factors such as cross wind decreasing accuracy.
 

Heavier BB’s have a higher momentum making the hit of the BB harder whilst increasing accuracy. It's important to understand that heavier BB's may have a lower velocity but carry their energy for a greater amount of time. Over the distance of say 20 meters a 0.20g BB will have lost a large percentage of energy whereas a 0.28g will have have only lost a fraction. 
 

0.36g+ BB's are mainly used forAirsoft Snipers or weapons with a high FPS/Joule limit.
